This is a little disorganized as I am learning as I go.

It is my intention to write about local government as I have done for a couple of years, but I want to make this blog a resource for Springfield citizens to post goings on in their families like reunions, information about funerals and other events.

It may also be a place to inform people about town events. Elsewhere you will find headings for businesses and services that will contain phone numbers and business hours etc.

Business owners and service providers may contact me to arrange publication of their information.

Eventually more categories will show up to provide lots of information for both residents and people who want to learn more about the town.

I am sure you will find anything posted here peppered with my attempts to improve the way residents of Springfield interact with the town government. I also want to make it easy for people who wish to move here to get a rough idea of what life is like in our town.

This is my first post after a day struggling with the way the website works. Hopefully things will look a little smoother in time.
